Its the third day of the intern ship for ITS, and so far its been much better today than compared to the first day.
For the first and second day, the highlights were basically installing Oracle Linux and looking up Nagios and other similar monitoring systems.
Today, Tom set me up with a OVM and it was pretty cool seeing how it was set up. On top of that, I did some coding on the terminal. Nothing serious, but it was pretty nice seeing how Linux functions, and I understood why a lot of people use it and why it uses much less space than Windows.
There's a lot more to learn, but the spark for interest came today. Time to learn how to use LINUX without the GUI!!
